My name is Amy Carlton. I have been the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Almond-Bancroft since 2012. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. I have been an SLP since 2003. Prior to coming to Almond-Bancroft, I worked in a skilled nursing facility with patients who have suffered strokes, dementia, feeding & swallowing impairments, ALS, and more. I always knew I wanted to work with kids again, which led me to Almond!
I am married (to Sheldon) , with two beautiful daughters (Laney & Lexi) and two dogs (Ella & Chloe). I spend the majority of my free time taking my girls to practices or games. They play softball, basketball, and volleyball. We have a very busy schedule, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Watching them play is my favorite place to be.
Well, there's a little glimpse into my life! I hope you find this website easy to navigate and are able to find some useful information. I truly enjoy working with the children in this school district and am excited to see their speech & language skills grow daily!
Thanks for visiting!
